The collector Forrest Fenn, 89, was responsible for hiding and creating clues that would lead to the treasure. They hid a total of 9 tips in a 24-verse poem published in their memoir in 2010. Since that decade passed, many have ventured into the search, but the man who found the chest valued at US $ 1 million, and who did not want to identify himself, proved it by sending a photo of the discovery to Fenn .
